Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Kapsner: Page 1, line 4, through page 2, line 29: Delete all material. Page 2, line 30: Delete "* Sec. 3" Insert "* Section 1" Renumber the following bill sections accordingly. Page 8, lines 22 - 25: Delete all material. Renumber the following bill section accordingly. 2000-04-20 House Journal Page 3369 SB 294 Page 8, lines 26 - 27: Delete ", 18.65.765(a)(4), 18.65.780, 18.65.785, 18.65.790(5), and 18.65.790(6)" Insert "and 18.65.765(a)(4)" Representative Kapsner moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative James objected. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?" Representative Green moved and asked unanimous consent that HCS CSSB 294(JUD) be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Representative Berkowitz objected. The Speaker stated that HCS CSSB 294(JUD) will be in third reading on the April 21, 2000, calendar.
